Guido Mine and Coal Mining Museum

The π-EJ 2019 workshop will be held at the conference hall (320 nm below the ground level!) in The Guido and Coal Mining Museum, which is located in the heart of Silesia, about 2 minutes drive from the Drogowa Trasa Średnicowa (DTŚ) and five minutes from the A4 motorway.

The museum also has their own internal parking for 60 cars and 6 bus stations.

At the level 320 m below the ground, there are 4 mining chambers – the Research Chamber No. 8, the Compressor Chamber, the Pump Hole and the Mechanical Workshop. The workshop will be held at the Research Camber No. 8.

They provide catering, multimedia availability, Wi-Fi connectivity and above all, the great industrial climate of the historic mine. The chambers can accommodate 80 to 180 people each.
